Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!!!!
So, everyone has heard of the T.V. show Desperate Housewives right? Well, lets just say this blog is the complete opposite of the show. I created Holy Housewives to show the truth and reality of being a house wife and stay at home mom. I wanted to encourage and relate to other wives and moms who go through and feel the same way I and/or others may feel at times. I've often felt that I was the only one going through situations with my spouse, my kids, my house, and no one could possibly relate to me. After reading several articles and blogs, I found out I was wrong. I'm not the only wife who sometimes feels as though she has so much on her plate and no one to help, not even her husband. I'm not the only mom of little ones who cries sometimes and feels like she just needs a break.
So, with that being said, I am a house wife and a SAHM of a 2year old girl, 1year old girl, and am due in a week with our first boy. I've been married to my husband and best friend for 3 years, so yes, we are still newlyweds. We have gone through many ups and downs, but we are definitely growing strong. We are a Christian household, hence the name Holy, and truly live by the Word of God.
Through this blog, I pray that other wives, engaged women, moms, moms-to-be, will be encouraged in their journey in marriage and parenthood. I, myself, need the encouragement and reminder at times that everything is going to be okay. Even for those that are not married yet or don't have children yet, through us wives and moms, they can see that although marriage and being a mom is a lot of work, it is the most rewarding job anyone can have and ask for.
